Mul-T-Lock’s® commitment to quality has a long history and a bright future. In 1992, it received its first ISO certification, and since then has progressively expanded and enhanced its compliance to international quality standards.

Products

Mul-T-Lock products meet UK, US, EU and other major global standards, including BS, UL, CEN, VOS, SKG, CPC and A2P.


Process

 

Mul-T-Lock manufactures cylinders, locks, padlocks, multi-point locks, electro-mechanical cylinders and locks, machinery, master key systems, software, and key cutting systems. Hundreds of these models are manufactured by Mul-T-Lock’s own special machinery to ensure the highest process standards and efficiency. Mul-T-Lock’s processes comply with SI ISO 9001:2000, SI ISO 14001 (global environmental management quality), SI OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety).


Service

 

Our service standards are as high as our technical and performance standards. Our products are made to give people true confidence in the security of their property.

We like to think of our service as an end-to-end chain, which serves every customer link along the way, from the distributor to the locksmith to the end consumer. Our goal is total satisfaction at each stage:

All our products carry a minimum of 12 months Manufacturers warranty.

Mul-T-Lock understands the value of both a competent and trained workforce and customer base.


Employees

 

Every employee undergoes an initial training programme within the Mul-T-Lock business unit covering;

 

  • Company strategy and vision
  • Systems and processes
  • Products and standards
  • Customers
  • Customer service and after sales
  • Logistics and quality

 

Our training program for employees includes identifying the current cylinders in your home, placing an order through the system, picking the stock in the warehouse, pinning your own cylinders and finally fitting them!

 

We want every employee to feel part of the Mul-T-Lock business and to understand our business from cradle to grave.

 

On-going product and systems training is given to ensure the latest standards, products and procedures are understood as well as being a useful knowledge “refresher”.

Secondments to other departments are encouraged and are a very useful and quick way of understanding how departments work and how we can improve to help each other and our customers.


Customers

 

Mul-T-Lock likes to work with our customers as partners. We provide regular training sessions on our products. The sessions currently available cover the fundamentals of our cylinder platforms; Garrison and Interactive, which in turn cover our full portfolio of cylinder systems.

Training forums on Chubb, Yale, Nemef, Corbin and other Mul-T-Lock products are planned for 2008 and beyond.
